JOB DESCRIPTION: Companion/Sitter Caregivers at Flora’s Angel provide non-medical support to elderly, handicapped, or recovering clients in their homes. This role focuses on companionship, safety, meal support, and essential light housekeeping. Flora’s Angel strongly prefers previous experience as a companion, sitter, or caregiver. To succeed at this job, the applicant should be comfortable working with clients who may have memory loss or early dementia, limited mobility, or chronic conditions that affect mood or behavior. The applicant should be strongly reliable and punctual, because clients and families will depend on you. The applicant must have a warm, patient, and respectful communication style and have the ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold client dignity and confidentiality.
